Machu Picchu

After a few days hiking through the Salkantay Trekk we made it to Machu Picchu. Having the privilege to be where the ancient Inca’s lived was an Honour. The entire time we explored the ruins it was a surreal experience

We arrived at Machu Picchu before the sun rise. While everyone was standing at the entrance waiting for the sun to rise our tour guide took us through Machu Picchu to watch it from the opposite side of the ruins.

The best part about this was that it felt like we had a private tour because everyone was waiting for the sun to rise at the entrance. We got to experience the sun rise over Machu Picchu in a private setting that will stay with us forever.
